03 Why MOMENTS exists
Built with love,
for my mom.
My mom was diagnosed with PNES (Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures), a condition that's often misunderstood and challenging to manage. Watching her struggle to communicate the details of her episodes to doctors, trying to remember when they happened, how long they lasted, and what she was doing beforehand, I knew there had to be a better way.
MOMENTS was born from that frustration and love. I wanted to give her and others like her a tool that makes the invisible visible. A way to track not just the events, but the patterns, the triggers, and the story behind each moment.
As MOMENTS evolved, migraine tracking became part of that same mission, giving people a thoughtful way to record migraines while keeping each condition distinct.
This app is dedicated to her, and to every family navigating the complexities of PNES together.
